  • Define Gratitude and where the concept of it comes from
  • Learn how gratitude can help reduce stress, and shift the way your brain sees stress
  • Identify 3 gratitude practices you can use in your day
  • Try 2-3 gratitude practices together, and find how to use them in your day

Jessi earned her master's degree in Speech Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She has worked in many setting, including teletherapy. Jessi is a trained Integrative Coach and Yoga Teacher, and she runs the site jessiandricks.com. She has presented at multiple conferences and conventions, including most recently the Teletherapy Bootcamp Online Conference. Jessi focuses on helping SLPs reduce burn out and stress through evidence-based stress management tools and techniques.

It might seem naive, until you have to rely on it, because it is all you have. And then you can truly see the power in it. Even with incredible stress and obstacles, gratitude can help you to move through the stress, feel less stuck in it when stress occurs, and help you to stay connected to the good things in your life. Gratitude is the ultimate resilience builder.
